MY SMARTPHONE IS LEASED. CAN I STILL BUY A WARRANTY?
Yes, we cover devices that are not paid in full (meaning you are paying your carrier monthly via a lease agreement). If your phone breaks and is fixable, we will fix it. If your phone needs to be replaced, you may need to first get permission from your carrier to get a replacement.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS I CAN MAKE ON MY SMARTPHONE?
We will cover an unlimited number of claims up to the purchase value of the device. For example, if you have an Galaxy with an MSRP value of $749.00, and we replace your cracked screen for $120, then you would have $629.00 remaining in claims.
WHERE CAN I TAKE MY PHONE FOR REPAIRS?
Our claims representatives will work with you to find a certified repair shop closest to you. You can also choose to ship it to our repair center at no cost to you.
IF MY PHONE GETS REPLACED, DOES MY WARRANTY COME TO AN END?
Yes, having your phone replaced ends the warranty on your device.
WHAT IS THE START DATE FOR MY WARRANTY?
If you are able to provide us with a FedEx, UPS, or USPS tracking number, we can verify the date you received the device and use that as the start date for your warranty. Otherwise we will use the purchase date of the smartphone as stated on your receipt.
CAN I BUY A WARRANTY ON A USED/REFURBISHED SMARTPHONE?
No, currently we only cover phones that are brand new and were purchased in the original sealed container.
I JUST PURCHASED MY WARRANTY, WHEN CAN I MAKE MY FIRST CLAIM?
If you purchased your warranty on the same day as your smartphone, you are covered from day one. Otherwise, you will have to wait until the 31st day from when you purchased the warranty before you can make your first claim.
DO YOU COVER MY MODEL OF SMARTPHONE?
Yes, we cover all models of smartphones as long as there is at least a 90-day manufacturer's warranty on it (the vast majority do). Please note, with some international or unlocked models, the manufacturer does not honor the warranty in the U.S.
DO YOU COVER WATER SUBMERSION?
Yes, we cover water submersion. However, it must come from the result of an accident.
