Coming Soon: Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Earbuds

On June 15, 2022, Sennheiser announced that Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones will soon hit the market. The signature sound company recently released the Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds, and now the Momentum 4 headphones will join their growing product line. The products have not been fully revealed yet, so many details remain unknown. Here’s what we know so far.

Headphone Specs

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 over-the-ear headphones contain a 42 mm transducer system. Audiophiles will love the clear and crisp sound with brilliant dynamics and high-fidelity sound. Inside, the earphones contain angled speakers so that the music is played upwards into the user’s ear, creating a more natural soundstage. Sennheiser creates listening products with distinct, high-quality sound for optimum listening.
There is synthetic leather padding around the earphones for continuous comfort, whether you wear them for an hour or five. These cushioned pads also help in the Adaptive Noise Canceling Technology. In addition, the Momentum 4 will come with multiple options to adapt the sound to the user’s environment and personal preferences. And the advanced voice pick-up will make taking phone calls and using voice assistants with the headphones a breeze.

Difference from Sennheiser Momentum 3

The Momentum 4 headphones have undergone a near-complete redesign. As a result, they look like an entirely different product than their predecessor. The Momentum 3 had a metal band on which users could adjust the earphones up or down. Exposed wiring connected the earphone to the band.
Sennheiser hasn’t released a full picture of the Momentum 4 earbuds, but it seems that Sennheiser has revamped the design based on the glimpse they released. The Momentum 4’s use a single point of contact to attach the earphones directly to a completely padded and adjustable band. There are no exposed wires, and the increased padding and lack of a metal bar make for a much more comfortable wearing and listening experience.
The design isn’t the only thing that’s changed. The Momentum 3 headphones came with a 17-hour battery life, which was on the low-end of wireless earphones in its price range. The Momentum 4 is an upgrade with up to 60 hours of battery life. That’s 3x better than the Momentum 3.

Price and Release

Sennheiser will release the Momentum 4 Wireless headphones in August 2022. Sennheiser has not released a price yet, though it will likely be in line with previous Momentum headphones. The Momentum 3 Wireless Headphones currently cost $399.95 on Sennheiser’s site. They will likely be in a range of $350-$450, though we may have to wait until the release to know a firm price.

Headphone and Earbuds Warranty

If you’re a true audiophile, it’s probably worth spending a couple of hundred dollars on a pair of high-quality wireless earbuds or headphones. However, headphones are prone to damage since they are normally taken on the go. Daily use exposes them to more elements and risks. And they contain many small parts and wiring, meaning they are easier to break than many other devices.
After spending hundreds of dollars on a pair of premier headphones or earbuds, you’ll want to pair them with a warranty in case they break. But don’t overpay for a retailer’s headphones or earbuds warranty. Upsie offers affordable and comprehensive warranty plans for headphones, wireless earbuds, and many other devices.
For example, a two-year Upsie warranty for the Sennheiser Momentum 3 wireless headphones costs $42.99 and a 3-year plan costs $65.99. Each plan has a $25 deductible and will cover repairs up to the product’s price. You can make a claim 24/7/365, and an Upsie customer service representative will help you get your headphones repaired. You can take them to a local certified repair technician or mail them to Upsie’s repair center with free two-day round-trip shipping.
Want to purchase a warranty for used or refurbished headphones? No problem! Unlike many competitors, Upsie will cover both new and used headphones. So no matter how you purchase your device, Upsie has you covered.
