New Nintendo Switch Games Coming Soon

The Switch is now Nintendo’s best-selling console ever. It has over 4,000 games to choose from, and there are plenty more coming. Between now and summer 2022, dozens of hotly anticipated titles are set to arrive on the Switch.
Already, 2022 has seen numerous top-rated new titles arrive on the console. Pokemon Legends: Arceus launched at the end of January, for example. An adventure through the franchise’s Sinnoh region brought to the Switch for the first time, it followed over ten other games released by various developers earlier in the month. These ranged from Arcadia Fallen and Astroneer to Vivid Knight and Windjammers.
February then saw a staggering 100 or more new games released on the Switch, including Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, Breakout: Recharged, Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires, Life Is Strange Remastered Collection, and Monark.
Release-wise, things are set to slow down slightly from here on out. Yet, over 80 further new titles are still expected before the end of June. With that, and from Aztech: Forgotten Gods to Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, here are 30 upcoming Nintendo Switch games to look forward to right now.

New Games Coming to the Nintendo Switch in March 2022

Aztech: Forgotten Gods (March 10)

Coming to the Nintendo Switch at the same time as its release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC is Aztech: Forgotten Gods. From the developers of the critically acclaimed action-adventure game Mulaka, the brand-new title promises more of the same style of thrilling action gameplay.
Playing as the game’s main protagonist, expect a battle of epic proportions against a plethora of enemies and literal gods. The title lands on the Switch in mid-March.

Chocobo GP (March 10)

A game that both Mario Kart and Final Fantasy fans have long been looking forward to, Chocobo GP finally arrives on the Switch this March, too. Something fresh for existing video game karting fans, at the same time, it’ll be an essentially new proposition for many devotees of the Final Fantasy anthology.
Chocobo GP brings the Mario Kart experience to locales from the Final Fantasy series. While that may sound unconventional, it’s a proven formula. The game’s predecessor, the original Chocobo Racing, first became a hit on the original Sony PlayStation way back in 1999.
Fast-forward to today, and Chocobo GP for the Nintendo Switch promises everything from a story mode to time attacks and knock-out tournaments. Largely following the traditional kart racer recipe, Chocobo GP’s arrival should also be a welcome distraction for anyone patiently waiting for Mario Kart 9.

Rune Factory 5 (March 22)

Also coming before the end of March is Rune Factory 5. A Harvest Moon spin-off, the game’s fifth installment is a testament to the already established success of the series to date. Rune Factory first came to the Nintendo DS almost 15 years ago, before making its first outing on the Switch in 2019 as Rune Factory 4.
The franchise is loved by fans for its combination of farming simulator aspects and distinctly different action RPG elements. Released in Japan last year, Rune Factory 5 focuses on saving the Kingdom of Norad. Having attracted rave reviews from those who’ve already been lucky enough to play the game, the North American release is now just around the corner.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land (March 25)

Toward the end of the month, March also welcomes the long-overdue return of the adorable Kirby. Announced at Nintendo Direct back in September last year, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the game’s hero goes 3D for the first time.
With that, the previously 2D-only Kirby will join the likes of other Nintendo mascots such as Mario and Link in finally going 3D. Kirby then heads straight off to the Forgotten Land to explore a new post-apocalyptic world in three dimensions for the first time in the character’s 30-year history.

Nintendo Switch Extended Warranty

As much as we love the Nintendo Switch, the console isn’t without issues. Problems like dead pixels and power failures continue to plague many buyers, as do several other common faults. Of course, considering that over 100 million consoles have now been sold, this is to be somewhat expected.
However, that doesn’t make manufacturing defects, mechanical faults, and other failures any more palatable. It’s for this reason, and various others, that an extended Nintendo Switch warranty is so important.
