Can I buy a protection plan on a used/refurbished television?

Yes! Starting March 24, 2023 you can buy a protection plan for your used or refurbished TV as long as your device has no damage, comes with at least a 30-day seller or manufacturer warranty, you purchased your device within the last 4 years, and its original MSRP before tax and discounts was at or below $3,999.99.

Do you cover my model of television?

We're able to cover most models of Televisions as long as it is in good working condition with no physical damage and it was purchased within the last 4 years. We're not able to protect the model if the original price before tax and discounts was more than $3,999.99. Upsie is not able to protect international models, or devices purchased outside of the United States.

My TV was marked as an open-box item, will Upsie cover it?

We're able to cover most open box items, as long as it is in good working condition with no physical damage and it was purchased within the last 4 years. We're not able to protect the model if the original price before tax and discounts was more than our maximum coverage amount. Upsie is not able to protect international models, or devices purchased outside of the United States.

Can I cancel my protection plan and receive a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your protection plan at any time. For all plans purchased after March 24, 2023, if you cancel your plan within 90 days of purchase, you will receive a full refund (if there are no approved claims.) If you cancel your plan after 90 days, your coverage will conclude at the end of the current billing period and there will be no refund.

*Protection Start Date

All devices require a 90 day waiting period before you can make a claim, unless your device is brand new and was purchased in the last 30 days and you provide your receipt during activation to waive the claims waiting period.

Log into your Upsie account to start your claim 24/7. During business hours, the claims representative will let you know if your claim is covered and collect your deductible (if applicable). Then they’ll help you schedule a repair appointment.

How does my television get repaired?

A

If your TV is over 36 inches - After you submit your claim, the representative will help schedule and send out a technician to your home to fix your TV on site! If your TV is under 36 inchess, the representative will present you with the repair options that make the most sense for the TV. We recommend bringing it into one of our local repair partners.
