The Forerunner 255 series takes the same cutting-edge technology of the earlier 245 series and expands upon it to provide users with an ultra-lightweight product that’s packed with innovations that most exercise enthusiasts will love.
There are four versions to choose from. Your options include the Forerunner 255, the Forerunner 255 Music, the Forerunner 255S, and the Forerunner 255S Music.
Let’s start from the top. The Forerunner 255 and Forerunner 255 Music have 46 mm cases, while the Forerunner 255S and Forerunner 255S Music are available in 41 mm cases. The lens is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for maximum durability. In addition, the overall size for the 41 mm option is 41 x 41 x 12.4 mm, with a 1.1 inch (27.5 mm) display size. And the resolution is 218 x 218 pixels.
