How does my small appliance get repaired?

Our customer care team will schedule and send out a technician to your home to fix your major appliance on site! For small appliances you may be required to ship it in to our certified repair center to be fixed.

Can I buy a warranty on a used/refurbished small appliance?

Yes! Starting May 15, 2020 you can buy a warranty for your used or refurbished small appliance as long as you purchased your device within the last 60 days.

I just purchased my warranty, when can I make my first claim?

You must wait until 31 days after you buy your warranty to make a claim.

Do you cover my model of small appliance?

Yes, we cover all models of small appliance as long as there is at least a 90-day manufacturer's warranty or a 30-day seller's warranty on it (the vast majority do). Upsie is not able to protect international models as the companies often do not ship replacement parts to the United States.

Can I cancel my warranty and receive a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your warranty, often for a full or partial refund. When you cancel your plan within 30 days of plan purchase and have not made an approved claim, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your plan after 30 days of warranty purchase and have not made a claim, you will receive a prorated refund based on how many days remain on your warranty term minus a 10% cancellation fee calculated from the prorated amount. Refunds are not available on any warranty plan with an approved claim.

Buy & Activate Your Small Appliance Warranty

Don’t worry about warranty protection when you purchase your new or used small appliance. You can buy an Upsie Warranty for it up to 60 days later. After purchase, activate your Upsie coverage by uploading a picture or copy of your small appliance receipt in your account.

Coverage Starts

Upsie's coverage overlaps with the manufacturer warranty for as long as the manufacturer warranty is active. When the manufacturer warranty ends, Upsie takes over full coverage, so your device is never without protection. (Read more in our FAQ)

Make a Claim

Talk with our US-based claims center 24/7/365 to file your claim. A real person will walk you through the claim and let you know on that call if the claim is covered. In rare cases, you will need to send us a picture of your broken appliance.

Is there a limit to the number of claims I can make on my small appliance?

A

We will cover an unlimited number of claims up to the purchase value of the appliance. If you have an appliance with a purchase value of $999.99, and we send out a repair technician with a total bill of $249.99, then you would have $750.00 remaining in claims.
