Is there a limit to the number of claims I can make on my appliance?

We will cover an unlimited number of claims up to the purchase value of the appliance. For example, if you have an appliance with a purchase value of $999.99, and we send out a repair technician with a total bill of $249.99, then you would have $750.00 remaining in claims.

How does my appliance get repaired?

Our customer care team will help schedule and send out a technician to your home to fix your major appliance on site! For small appliances, you may bring it into a local repair shop or ship it in to our certified repair center to be fixed.

Can I buy a warranty on a used/refurbished major appliance?

No, Upsie does not currently offer used/refurbished warranties for major appliances.

Do you cover my model of major appliance?

Yes, we cover all models of major appliances as long as there is at least a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Upsie is not able to protect international models as the companies often do not ship replacement parts to the United States.

Can I cancel my warranty and receive a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your warranty, often for a full or partial refund. When you cancel your plan within 30 days of plan purchase and have not made an approved claim, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your plan after 30 days of warranty purchase and have not made a claim, you will receive a prorated refund based on how many days remain on your warranty term minus a 10% cancellation fee calculated from the prorated amount. Refunds are not available on any warranty plan with an approved claim.

Buy & Activate Your Appliance Warranty

Don’t purchase the appliance warranty offered by the retailer. You can buy an Upsie Warranty for your refrigerator, stove or other appliance up to 11 months after purchase. It’s easy to activate your warranty; upload a picture or copy of your appliance receipt in your account.

Coverage Starts

Upsie's coverage overlaps with the manufacturer warranty for as long as the manufacturer warranty is active. When the manufacturer warranty ends, Upsie takes over full coverage, so your device is never without protection. (Read more in our FAQ)

Make a Claim

If your appliance malfunctions, call our 24/7/365 claims center or fill out a form in your account to start your claim. A real person will walk you through the claim and decide on that call if it is covered. The agent may request a picture of your broken appliance. After the claim is approved, the agent will schedule a repair appointment for you.

When does the warranty coverage begin?

A

Upsie‘s appliance coverage starts on day one and overlaps with the manufacturer warranty. We will cover repairs or replacements the manufacturer denies that are within our warranty terms during that time. When the manufacturer warranty expires, Upsie’s full coverage begins. You must wait 31 days after warranty purchase to make a claim on any Upsie major appliance warranty.
