LG Versus GE Refrigerators: Which Are Better?

In terms of reliability, GE gets the edge here as well, as their products tend to last longer and are generally more reliable. That’s not to say that LG products are unreliable; it’s just that GE is a little bit better.

Finally, GE offers longer warranties than LG. To quantify, “the warranty on an LG refrigerator is usually about half as long compared to its competitors at one to five years,” explains Tor Rydder of Organizing TV. “GE warranties, on the other hand, range from two to an impressive twelve years.”

This was a tough choice. Although LG is a reputable brand and offers a nice selection of quality refrigerators, GE is the definite winner here. To recap, GE gets the edge in price, selection, energy efficiency, reliability, and warranty.
