Dyson Cooling Fan Lineup Compared

Dyson has been around since 1993, producing many home appliances and electronics. One of the products Dyson is known for is its fans. In the past, Dyson has created everything from tower fans to Dyson desk fans. However, in recent years, they have discontinued traditional Dyson pedestal fans and desk fans. Now they have streamlined their products and only make tower fan air purifiers.
Dyson makes three types of purifier/cooling fan products:
  • Air Purifiers
  • Humidify + Cool
  • Purifiers Hot + Cool
These products all have a different combination of heating and humidifying capabilities, but all Dyson tower fans can purify your air and cool your space by projecting purified air and can remove 99.7% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. Keep reading to see a further breakdown of Dyson cooling fans.

Dyson Purifiers and Cooling Tower Fans

There are three Dyson cooling fan/air purifier combo products:
The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09 and Autoreact TP7A are very similar. They both are sealed to block pollutants, have backward airflow capabilities to purify without cooling, and are Energy Star Certified. These Dyson cooling fans also have LCD screens that monitor your air quality in real-time and three sensors that monitor for pollution events.
The Formaldehyde fan’s ability to destroy formaldehyde continuously sets it apart from the Autoreact fan. You can also control it with the Dyson link app and voice control assistants like Alexa. The Pure Cool Dyson tower fan is a simpler product and only purifies and cools your space. It has no backward airflow capabilities and isn’t Energy Star Certified.

Dyson Air Purifier + Humidifiers

These Dyson cooling fans not only purify the air but also add moisture to the space for increased health benefits. There are two purifier and humidifier fan models:
Both these products are sealed to block pollutants, have backward airflow capabilities, and are certified asthma and allergy friendly. They are also equipped with LCD air quality screens and pollution sensors. Additionally, both the Humidify + Cool products can be controlled with the Dyson Link app and voice control assistants. Like the Purifier Cool Formaldehyde product, the Humidify + Cool fan destroys formaldehyde, but it also has heating capabilities that the HUmidify + Cool Autoreact doesn’t.

Dyson Purifying, Cooling, and Heating

Finally, the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool products purify the air and can act as either a cooling fan or heater. There are three models you can choose from:
The breakdown of these products is very similar to the Dyson Purifier Cool products. The Hot + Cool Formaldehyde and Hot + Cool HP07 are very similar. They both heat and cool, have backward airflow technology, and are Energy Star Certified. Like other Dyson tower fans, they have LCD screens and sensors for monitoring pollution and can be controlled with the Dyson Link app and voice control.
The main difference between the two is that the Formaldehyde model, like other Formaldehyde models, will destroy formaldehyde in your home. However, the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool HP01 is a much simpler product and is small enough to be a Dyson desk fan.

Dyson Warranty

Dyson pedestal fans with blades may be a thing of the past, but the Dyson bladeless fans are a great product to purify and cool your home. Though they may not have blades, they still are vulnerable to mechanical damage. However, with an Upsie small appliance warranty, your air purifier/fan combo will be completely protected from mechanical defects, heating/cooling issues, power failure, and more.
Upsie offers low-cost 2-year and 3-year warranty plans with no deductible, saving you money on any repair or replacement fees. For example, a 2-year plan for the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool HP01 would cost $39.99, and a 3-year plan would cost $65.99.
Then, if your fan breaks or malfunctions, you can get it repaired by a local certified technician or replaced at no cost to you! Warranty plans like Upsie’s extend your appliance’s lifespan and save you money. Ensure your new Dyson cooling fan is protected with Upsie!
