If you have an iPhone, you can request to get it repaired at the Genius bar and we’ll reimburse you.

How it works

Buy & Activate Your iPhone Warranty

Skip the high cost of buying AppleCare+ when you get your new iPhone. You can buy an Upsie iPhone warranty when you pre-order your iPhone or up to 60 days after you buy it. Post purchase, activate your Upsie coverage by uploading a picture or copy of your receipt to your account.

Coverage Starts

iPhone warranty coverage extends Apple’s manufacturer warranty, so you get the same coverage for longer. Upsie coverage begins the day after the manufacturer warranty ends. You may be directed to Apple if your iPhone is still under their manufacturer warranty. Plans also include accident protection against drops and spills. If you buy your iPhone and Upsie warranty on the same day, Upsie iPhone accident protection begins immediately. Similarly, if your phone is being shipped, and you purchase your warranty before it arrives, coverage will begin the day you receive your iPhone. If you buy your Upsie warranty on any day after you buy your iPhone, Upsie accident protection begins on the 31st day after you buy the warranty.

Make a Claim

Talk to our US-based claims center 24/7/365 to file your claim. A real person will let you know if the claim is covered and walk you through options to get your iPhone fixed at a Genius Bar or certified repair facility. Our claims center will collect your deductible over the phone. In rare cases, you may be required to send in a picture of your broken iPhone for verification.

My smartphone is leased. Can I still buy a warranty?


Yes, we cover devices that are not paid in full (meaning you are paying your carrier monthly via a lease agreement). If your phone breaks and is fixable, we will fix it. If your phone needs to be replaced, you may need to first get permission from your carrier to get a replacement.
